Welcome to the Saturday Page Rage!

Saturday Page Rage is a one-hour writing challenge that uses free association writing, also known as freewriting or automatic writing. You will have one hour to write as much as you can and as fast as you can without stopping. You can do it by yourself or with a group of writer friends today or any time during the week. There will be a new theme posted here every Saturday.

Have you got your pen and paper? Finished your coffee? Eliminated all distractions?

Take deep breaths to relax and clear your mind. Relax your feet, your back, and your arms. Shake your hands to relax them. Ready?

Here's is the theme for this week:

You're master of your own words, but once spoken, your words may master you.
Just to get you going: the character you come up with can be either very talkative or the opposite - very quiet. Try to figure out how you could use irony with this concept. Remember to raise the stakes as high as possible!

Just start writing! You might feel blank at first but if you keep going you will surprise yourself!
